dropped my dad off at the airport this morning. yesterday on our way home from osa, i snapped another forward shock mount under the right leaf spring. i really should just redo them all. hmm... this shock mount is not like the left one and does not look stock... not that the stock mount was all that great, as previously demonstrated!
not quite feeling my oats yet on welding, i took it to the only shop in town that happened to be open (national holiday)... he's the "Mr. T" of welding around here i guess.
his motto should be "i pity the fool!" because i shorely was the fool today... i should have done the damn job myself... results:
betty, as my grandmother, would you say you could weld better than this? i should think so... he did have an interesting shop tho... real museum piece of an arc welder... can anyone ID this hobart relic? how old is it?
question to ponder for the day... why don't welders catch their hair on fire more often?
